How GameAPKEntry Checks APK Files
Before an APK is approved for publication, GameAPKEntry may inspect the Android file and record technical information that helps identify the exact APK being offered.
2. SHA-256 File Hash
A SHA-256 hash identifies the exact APK file checked by GameAPKEntry and helps distinguish a changed or replacement file.
3. Signing Identity
The APK signing-certificate SHA-256 identity may be recorded to identify unexpected signing changes.
4. Manifest & Permissions
Selected Android manifest information and higher-risk permissions may be reviewed before publication.
5. Controlled Download
Approved APK files are served through download locations controlled by GameAPKEntry instead of exposing an uncontrolled final third-party APK link.
6. Publication Gate
Apps that fail required APK identity, file, content or page-quality checks can be blocked or removed.
What an APK check does not mean
Technical verification does not mean that any Android app can be guaranteed completely safe or risk-free on every phone.
